French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron met with prominent Bollywood stars in Mumbai today as part of the French leader’s three-day official visit to India.

The cultural exchange took place amid a packed itinerary focused on strengthening Indo-French ties, including bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, participation in the India-AI Impact Summit, and discussions on defence cooperation, such as a potential new Rafale fighter jet deal, and artificial intelligence advancements.

Macron, accompanied by Brigitte, interacted with actors including Anil Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, Manoj Bajpayee, Richa Chadha, Shabana Azmi, and others. The meeting highlighted people-to-people and cultural connections between France and India, complementing the strategic and technological agenda of the trip.
