No durable peace in region without resolving Kashmir issue: Amir Muqam

Minister for Kashmir Affairs Engineer Amir Muqam has said lasting peace in the region is not possible without a peaceful solution to the Kashmir dispute.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, he said that giving political and economic rights to the Kashmiri people was the need of the hour.

He said Pakistan stands with the Kashmiri people and will always stand with them.

Amir Muqam strongly condemned the Indian atrocities in the occupied territory and said that the freedom sentiments of the Kashmiris had not been weakened by Indian measures.
