Pakistan recorded a current account surplus of 1.2 billion dollars in March this year.
This is the country’s highest monthly current account surplus.
The surplus of 1.8 billion dollars in the first nine months of current fiscal year is a welcome development.
Remittances reached a record level of four billion dollars in March while exports witnessed a significant increase of 8.7 percent.
