PSX surpasses psychological barrier of 133,000 points

Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) achieved another milestone today and surpassed the psychological barrier of one lac thirty-three thousand points in the hundred index during the trading.
The hundred index that closed at one lac thirty-one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine (131,949) points on last working day reached one lac thirty-three thousand two hundred and fifty-seven points, showing an increase of over one thousand three hundred points in the Hundred Index during the trading.
The upward trend in the stock exchange is a testament of the increasing confidence of business community on economic policies of government.
