18-inch gas pipeline destroyed in Bolan blast

An 18-inch diameter gas pipeline in Balochistan’s Bolan area has been destroyed by explosives.

Sui Gas officials said the blast has suspended gas supply to Kolpur, Mach, Mastung, Kalat, Pishin and Ziarat. Reduced gas pressure is also expected in some parts of Quetta.

Authorities said efforts are underway to restore the supply as soon as possible.
