Mian Amjad Farzand Re-Elected Chairman of Pakistan Film Producers Association for Third Term

Elections for the Pakistan Film Producers Association (PFPA) for the 2027-28 term have been completed, with filmmaker Mian Amjad Farzand re-elected as Chairman for a third consecutive term.

The election results were formally announced at the association’s office in Lahore.

Hassan Raza was elected Vice Chairman from Karachi, while Aziz Jahangir was elected Vice Chairman from Lahore.

The newly elected Executive Committee comprises Rana Naeem Ashraf, Muhammad Yunus, Fayyaz Khan, Zulfiqar Ahmad, Javed Daraj, Jamshed Jaan Muhammad, Umar Khattab, Anjum Chand and Hassan Naeem.

Filmmakers Asma Ismail and Rubina Umair were elected to the women’s seats.

The oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected office-bearers will be held soon.
