PTI-Government Standoff Needs an Amicable Solution

Our agencies are dumbfounded to find how the die-hard supporters of PTI are reacting. They seem indefatigable and the government nonplussed.
My humble submission is that instead of locking horns with one another, the conflicting parties must bury the hatchet.
Some perspicacious veterans of the party think that there must be an amicable solution to this protracted war, which seems to go on endlessly.
Here is a solution.

It is an incontrovertible truth that Khan has proven himself what he had to prove. Now this war still continuing on, his sister being jailed is rather shocking.
The government is in no position to just be battling with the jiyalas who find this business as some kind of pastime.
Ideally, the parties must come to a solution.
If they want Khan released, Khan must give up on his contumacious behaviour. The least he could do is get house arrested till the final settlement of the ordeal.
We as a government are in no position to bleed government resources indefinitely. The knee-jerk reaction of the PTI would further put a dent in the economy of Pakistan, where the entire activity comes to a juddering halt.
Every penny matters. The poor are living below the poverty line, in abject conditions. The mobilization of thousands of policemen to grapple with the ensuing situation has taken a toll on our depleting coffers already.

IK and his workers must be given one chance to come out and work in unison with our most loved Army. That's the only way to move forward. The overall temperature in the country must be lowered.
Imran Khan must acknowledge the sacrifices made by our jawans and junior officers. He must take the Army into confidence. Externally, we are okay, but a collective strategy is what is the need of the hour. Getting cheap fuel should be a priority to stabilize prices of commodities.
