Adani Group Commits Rs 1.5 Lakh Crore to Transform Kutch into Green Energy and Logistics Powerhouse

India: The Adani Group today announced one of its largest regional investment plans in recent years pledging Rs 1.5 lakh crore (approximately Rs 150000 crore or ~US$18 billion) over the next five years to accelerate development across the Kutch district in Gujarat India
The commitment was formally declared by Karan Adani Managing Director of the Adani Group during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Investors’ Summit held in Bhuj on Saturday

Renewable Energy
Massive scale-up of the Khavda Renewable Energy Park — already the world’s largest single-site renewable project, targeting a total installed capacity of 37 gigawatts (GW) of solar wind and hybrid generation
Port & Maritime Infrastructure
Doubling the capacity of Mundra Port India’s largest commercial port by volume along with significant upgrades to handling green hydrogen bulk cargo containers and automobiles
Green Hydrogen & Industrial Ecosystem
Development of large-scale green hydrogen production facilities and associated industrial corridors to support India’s net-zero ambitions
Logistics & Connectivity
Multi-modal logistics parks rail and road connectivity enhancements and warehousing infrastructure to turn Kutch into a major export-import gateway
The massive Kutch investment is widely seen as a strategic move to develop India’s westernmost district — historically underdeveloped despite its strategic location, into a global hub for green energy green hydrogen and export-oriented logistics
