Beyoncé Becomes Fifth Musician to Join Billionaire Club | Baaghi TV

Los Angeles (CBC) — December 31, 2025: Global music icon Beyoncé has officially joined the billionaire club, becoming only the fifth musician to reach the milestone, according to Forbes. The achievement places her alongside an elite group that includes Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and her husband, Jay-Z.

Forbes reports that Beyoncé’s rise to billionaire status has been driven primarily by the immense value of her music catalogue and the massive success of her tours, rather than diversified business ventures alone. Her most recent Cowboy Carter tour played a major role, grossing more than $400 million in ticket sales, with an additional estimated $50 million generated through merchandise.

The 32-stop tour spanned the United States and Europe and featured large-scale production involving hundreds of crew members, along with elaborate stage elements. Industry figures cited by Pollstar and Billboard Boxscore indicate that it became the highest-grossing country music tour of all time, marking a significant crossover moment as Beyoncé explored the genre in her latest album.

A key factor behind the tour’s profitability is Beyoncé’s ownership of Parkwood Entertainment, the production company she founded in 2010. The company manages most of her creative ventures, including music, tours and documentaries, allowing her to retain a larger share of earnings. Forbes estimates that Beyoncé is set to earn around $148 million pre-tax in 2025 alone.

Beyond music, brand partnerships and product lines have also contributed to her growing wealth. Beyoncé has collaborated with Moët Hennessy on SirDavis whisky, launched fragrances over the years, and previously partnered with Adidas on the Ivy Park activewear line. Recent brand deals, including a collaboration with Levi’s, along with concert films and streaming projects, have further boosted her income.

Beyoncé now joins fellow artists who have crossed the billionaire threshold through different paths. Rihanna reached the milestone in 2021 largely through her beauty and fashion brands, while Taylor Swift’s record-breaking tours and music catalogue propelled her into the club in 2023. Bruce Springsteen achieved billionaire status following the sale of his music catalogue in 2021.

Jay-Z, Beyoncé’s husband, became a billionaire in 2019 through a combination of music, liquor partnerships, fashion ventures and strategic investments, making them one of the most influential and wealthiest couples in the global entertainment industry.
