Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh delivered a sold-out concert to a crowd of nearly 90,000 at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium on Saturday, becoming the first Punjabi artist to headline the legendary venue.

The historic performance, part of his Aura World Tour, marked a landmark moment for South Asian music on the global stage. Dosanjh opened the show with a powerful declaration, “Punjabi Aa Gaye Wembley Oye!”, sparking roars from the packed stadium as fans celebrated the cultural milestone.

Addressing the audience, the singer-actor reflected on the significance of the night, telling fans: “This moment will go down in the history books.” Over more than two hours, he delivered a high-energy set blending traditional Punjabi sounds, Bhangra beats, rap and hip-hop, performing hits including G.O.A.T., Lover, Hass Hass and Born to Shine.

The show brought Dosanjh’s global phenomenon back to the British capital in spectacular fashion, underscoring his extraordinary rise as one of the biggest South Asian stars in the world. Fans filled the stands with dancing, phone lights and cheers, creating an electric atmosphere that highlighted the growing international reach of Punjabi music.
