Gujrat Bar Election 2026

Gujrat Bar Election 2026 | Baaghi TV

By Mian Haroon Masood, political leader based in Gujrat, Pakistan.

Today once again marks the triumph of a system that has stood firm since the very inception of the Gujrat Bar Association. Its annual elections, conducted with remarkable regularity and to the complete satisfaction of its members, continue to serve as an exemplary model. Among countless electoral processes, the Gujrat Bar elections stand apart as transparent, untainted, and free from any shadow of impropriety.

This is a process that is authentic, robust, and truly representative of the legal fraternity, where leadership emerges solely through the collective will and sovereign choice of its members, expressed through the power of the ballot. Democratic dispensations of such integrity are rare and therefore invaluable. Any decision taken by such a venerable institution cannot be dismissed lightly; whatever emanates from it carries authority, credibility, and an inherently positive force.

It is a matter of immense pride and privilege to belong to this distinguished fraternity. The 10th of January each year stands as a powerful reminder of hope in an era increasingly marked by repression and authoritarian tendencies—an era often detached from the realities of the people it governs. One can only hope that other institutions may draw inspiration from the Bar’s fairness, forthrightness, and unwavering commitment to democratic principles.

We choose to live with hope, not fear. No success is ever final, and no defeat is fatal; it is the will, courage, and resilience to continue marching forward that truly matters. Therefore, gird up your loins, friends, and press on. Light will surely emerge at the end of even the darkest and most oppressive tunnels.

Long live the legal fraternity, deserving of the highest respect. They are the true sons of the soil—the agents of change, the beacon of hope, and the bearers of the torch whose light shall radiate and reach the hapless, the poor, and the needy. I count myself fortunate to live among such luminaries and literati.

With profound respect and warm regards to the fraternity.

Congrats comrade!
