Railways Minister announces to upgrade all railway stations

Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi has announced to upgrade all railway stations across the country with world-class digital facilities.

Speaking to a private news channel, he said an online digitalization system, based on European standards, has already been introduced across the railway network.

The Minister said that the Islamabad-Lahore railway line project, being financed by the Punjab government, is on a fast track.

Responding to a query, he said that work on the ML-1 project is progressing swiftly with the cooperation of the Sindh government.
