Security Forces Kill 11 India-Sponsored Terrorists in Balochistan Operations: ISPR

Security forces neutralised 11 terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Hindustan during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Kharan and Washuk districts of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.

According to an ISPR news release, on 6 September 2026, terrorists attempted to establish a roadblock in Kharan and disrupt local traffic. Security forces promptly intercepted and engaged them, killing eight Indian-sponsored terrorists.

In a separate, deliberately planned intelligence-based operation conducted on 7 September 2026 in Washuk district on reports of the presence of terrorists, troops effectively busted a hideout. After an intense exchange of fire, three more terrorists were killed.

Security forces also recovered 2.9 tons of explosives that were being used for the preparation of improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

Sanitisation operations are underway to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorists in the area. The ISPR reaffirmed that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” by Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
