Lahore — March 09, 2026: The Institute of Media and Communication Studies, in collaboration with the Young Journalists’ Society at Government College University Lahore, has launched the “Meet the Media Maestro Series.” The initiative aims to provide students with valuable exposure to the media industry through hands-on training workshops and interactive lectures by experienced media professionals.

The inaugural session featured senior journalist Mubasher Lucman, who conducted an insightful master class titled “Art of Probing Truth: Master Class in Investigative Journalism.” He shared valuable lessons from his professional journey and discussed key techniques, ethical considerations, and challenges involved in investigative reporting.
Dr. Mukhtar Ahmmad, In-Charge of the Department of Media Studies, welcomed the guest and emphasized the importance of engaging students with leading media practitioners to strengthen their practical understanding of the field.
