FBI Places Indian Goldy Brar on Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives List, Announces 1 Million Dollars Reward
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has placed Indian Punjab’s Faridkot-born fugitive Satinder Jeet Singh, alias Goldy Brar, on its Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and announced a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to his arrest. He is the 543rd person to be placed on the list.
US federal prosecutors have also accused Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi of conspiring in the killing of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada.
In India, Goldy Brar has been named a key accused in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. He has also been named in the case concerning the killing of Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
Patrick Grandy, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, described Goldy Brar as a dangerous individual and said bringing him into custody was a priority for the FBI and its partner agencies.
According to Grandy, Goldy Brar’s inclusion on the Top Ten Most Wanted list will result in his photograph and identity being widely publicized around the world.
The FBI has advised members of the public not to approach or contact Goldy Brar themselves. Anyone with information about his whereabouts has been asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or submit information through the FBI’s online tip portal.
