US Vice President JD Vance arrived at Nur Khan Airbase on Saturday morning to lead high-level peace negotiations with Iran, receiving a formal welcome from Pakistan’s top military and civilian leaders, including Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
Vance descended from Air Force Two under clear skies as a red carpet welcome unfolded, complete with an honor guard and traditional Pakistani hospitality. He was greeted by Field Marshal Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and National Security Advisor Asim Malik.
