Fifth Death Anniversary of Veteran Journalist Zia Shahid Observed with Tribute and Prayers

The fifth death anniversary of my favourite, renowned journalist, intellectual, and respected media figure Mohtaram Zia Shahid is being observed today with deep respect and reverence. Colleagues, admirers, and members of the media fraternity paid tribute to his remarkable contributions to journalism and his unwavering commitment to truth and integrity.

Zia Shahid was widely regarded as a symbol of courage, professionalism, and principled journalism. Throughout his career, he upheld the sanctity of the pen, consistently highlighting public issues and giving voice to the unheard. His fearless reporting and dedication to factual accuracy earned him a distinguished place in Pakistan’s media landscape.

Speakers and well-wishers remembered his legacy as one rooted in honesty, wisdom, and a deep sense of responsibility toward society. They noted that his services, intellectual depth, and ethical standards continue to inspire generations of journalists.
