India Denies Elon Musk’s Participation in Trump–Modi Call on Iran War

India has firmly rejected reports claiming that participated in a high-level phone call between and regarding the ongoing Iran conflict.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) clarified that the conversation took place strictly between President Trump and Prime Minister Modi, with no third party involved. The ministry described media reports suggesting Musk’s presence as “incorrect and misleading.”

Earlier, some international media outlets had reported, citing unnamed sources, that the tech billionaire joined the call, raising eyebrows over the possible involvement of a private individual in sensitive wartime diplomacy.

The reports also triggered political reactions within India, with opposition figures questioning the appropriateness of including a business leader in such critical discussions.

Analysts note that if true, the participation of a private entrepreneur in a high-level geopolitical call would be highly unusual. However, with India’s official denial, the issue remains a matter of conflicting claims.
