India Steps Up Engagement with U.S. to Counter Pakistan’s Growing Regional Diplomatic Influence

Sources indicate that India urged the United States to consider holding any future negotiations or agreements with Iran in a country other than Islamabad, in an effort to prevent Pakistan from gaining diplomatic prominence through such engagements.
