“I openly tell Muslims that wherever you offer Eid prayers, this Punjabi son Navjot Singh will stand as a watchman behind your prayer lines,” Sidhu had declared, drawing a parallel with Holi celebrations and emphasizing equal religious freedoms.

Videos and images circulating widely on social media show Sidhu positioned respectfully behind the rows of worshippers during the Eid prayer in Jalandhar.
