Pakistan Shoots Down Israeli-Made Drones in Taliban Attack Attempt on Chaman and Peshawar

Pakistan’s air defence systems successfully neutralised four to five Israeli-made drones launched by Afghan Taliban forces in an attempted strike on border areas including Chaman and Peshawar.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the drones were detected promptly by Pakistan’s robust air defence network and destroyed using sophisticated countermeasures before they could cause any harm or reach potential targets in areas including border regions near Chaman.

The incident is being linked to escalating tensions along the Durand Line, with Pakistani officials highlighting concerns over advanced drone technology allegedly reaching Taliban elements. No injuries or material losses were reported on the ground.

This successful interception underscores the effectiveness of Pakistan’s air defence capabilities against sophisticated aerial threats amid ongoing regional security challenges.
