Zahra Pezeshkian Visits BRICS Bazaar in New Delhi

India: Zahra Pezeshkian, daughter of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, along with her husband Hassan Majidi, visited the BRICS Bazaar in New Delhi on Saturday, accompanied by Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi.

The delegation toured pavilions showcasing the cultural heritage of BRICS member and partner countries, including the Indian pavilion. They viewed a range of traditional art, handicrafts, textiles and other cultural exhibits.

The visit was part of the cultural programme being held alongside the 18th BRICS Summit, hosted by India in New Delhi on September 12–13, 2026.

The BRICS Bazaar, being held at the National Crafts Museum and Hastkala Academy from September 10 to 15, features the creative traditions and cultural heritage of participating countries under the theme of cultural connection.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is currently in New Delhi to attend the BRICS Summit, which is focused on resilience, innovation, cooperation and sustainability.
